Boston Boston

When Americans think history, images of the Pilgrims, a tea party, Paul
Revere and Minutemen spring quickly to mind. The center of that is here —
Boston. Perhaps more than any, the city that shaped a nation. There’s so
much. Plymouth Rock, Old North Church, Bunker Hill, the USS Constitution.
Sites so well known we don’t have to explain.

The 2008 NDSC Convention will be held in the center of that. The anchor will be the Seaport World Trade Center and the adjacent Seaport Hotel. Both right on Boston harbor. You can spot the spire of Old North Church and the entire modern Boston skyline from the doorstep. As much as Boston defines our past, it also offers an exciting, entertaining present. From the Seaport Hotel, board a harbor tour or take to the seas to spot whales. The city abounds with museums for both art and history lovers while those enchanted by music and dance can be, well, enchanted. The Seaport is surrounded by dining fit for every palette and pocketbook.

Finally, what can we say about the Boston tradition of sports excellence? The world champion Red Sox will be at Fenway and, while it will be the off season, you will be in the middle of Patriots and Celtics country. Over the years, the NDSC Convention has been held in many great American cities. Some rival Boston. None beat it for wonderful family vacations.
