Jordan Kough has worked in the nonprofit sector his entire career and most recently has been with the Disability Rights Legal Center (DRLC) since 2016. During this time, he has helped expand the budget and programs within the organization, implementing the largest class-action lawsuit on behalf of people with disabilities to update the accessibility of sidewalks in LA County over the next 10 years. He has a deep passion for empowering those in society who are given the least access on all levels of civil rights. Before joining the DRLC, he has an extensive history in leading nonprofit organizations across the country and founded a consulting firm that seeks to change the paradigm of how fundraising and communications are implemented for small and mid-size nonprofits. He has worked with organizations ranging from education, to mental health, to food insecurity, to disability rights and more and he has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate to support youth in the foster care system in Washington DC.
