Rural communities across the country do not have the same access to information, medical and educational resources, or much needed therapies. NDSC’s Rural Outreach Program partners with local Down syndrome organizations across the U.S. to host a one- or two-day conference, providing a full range of resources and services to populations that otherwise fail to receive adequate support. This includes: Spanish-speaking, urban, rural and tribal communities. The workshops are open to parents, caregivers, professionals, and community members.
