Local and National Support Networks
Who can I look to for help and support?
The NDSC has connections to a wide-reaching network of local, regional and national organizations serving people with Down syndrome and their families. Throughout history, this network has supported each other, learning and growing together into a dynamic community. As a member of our community, we offer our in-depth knowledge and support to you.
For parents and family members of individuals with Down syndrome, local organizations play a critical role in offering support, information and resources to the families and individuals with Down syndrome. They offer on-the-ground support to a diverse population in all corners of the United States.
Because these organizations are so valuable, we urge you to search our Affiliate Directory for a local Down syndrome organization closest to you to learn more and become involved.
There are also additional national resources to explore. Please take a look at the organizations that partner with the NDSC on various projects and initiatives each year.
