Chess has recently reviewed the movie Avengers: Infinity War for our friends at NDSC. These are his findings:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Avengers: Infinity War out of 5 stars for excellence?
Chess: 5 stars = There’s a lot of action

NDSC: Can you tell me about it?
Chess: I like the superheroes.The Avengers and the other Superheroes team up to defeat Thanos. They work together to save the universe by stopping him from getting the stones for his gauntlet.

NDSC: Who was your favorite character?
Chess: The Hulk. I like it when he gets mad.

NDSC: Who was your least favorite character?
Chess: Thanos. He is evil.

NDSC: What was your favorite part?
Chess: When Captain America has two shields.

NDSC: What’s your final thoughts?
Chess: I can’t wait for the next movie!

NDSC Film Expert Reviews Disney’s ‘Beauty & the Beast’

Chess has recently reviewed Disney’s ‘Beauty & the Beast’ for our friends at NDSC. These are his findings:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Beauty & the Beast for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = so awesome that I cried. My dad did too.

NDSC: Why did you want to see Beauty & the Beast?

Chess’s answer: Because we are a Disney family, so I must support attend Disney movies, … but also, I wanted to see how it was different.

NDSC: Which part of the movie or which character did you like best?

Chess’s answer: Belle, of course! She’s pretty, smart and kind.

NDSC:  How did this movie compare to the first Disney animated Beauty & Beast movie?

Chess’s answer: I personally prefer seeing the “live characters” rather than the cartoonish characters.

Chess has recently reviewed Lucasfilm’s Rogue One for our friends at NDSC. These are his findings about the latest Star Wars movie:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Rogue One out of 5 stars for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars =  Liked seeing the back story to Episode One.

NDSC: What age group is this movie best for?

Chess’s answer: Older generations can appreciate the back story but the younger kids will think it’s cool too

NDSC: So…. What is the movie about and how does inspire?

Chess’s answer: About doing the right thing, good side vs. dark side.  Actions can impact others and this leads to Princess Leia.

Chess has recently reviewed Assassin’s Creed for our friends at NDSC. This movie is also a favorite video game for many. These are his findings:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Assassin’s Creed for 5 stars for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = Liked that it was a movie made from video game

NDSC: Some people loyal to the video game did not like the movie at all but you think it was worth seeing?

Chess’s answer: Yes

NDSC: Which part of the movie did you think was the most interesting?

Chess’s answer: There was a looooove story in it. LOL. That was interesting, haha. Also a family with wife and kids. Not seen as much in the video game.

Chess’s answer: “Everybody has a secret.”

NDSC: How many stars would you give Fantastic Beasts for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = so awesome with the sound effects!

NDSC: Why did you want to see Fantastic Beasts?

Chess’s answer: To better understand the Harry Potter world and those before him.

NDSC: Which part of the movie or which character did you like best?

Chess’s answer: Favorite character … the Bird.

NDSC:  How did this movie compare to the Harry Potter movies?

Chess’s answer: Even better than I expected and cool to learn about Harry’s parents.

NDSC: How many stars would you give Moana out of 5 stars for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = Cool voice provided by THE ROCK

NDSC: What age group is this movie best for?

Chess’s answer: Perfect family movie for all ages!

NDSC: So…. What is the movie about and how does inspire?

Chess’s answer: About Moana setting things right when a terrible curse impacts the island. Epic journey and lessons learned about the heart along the way.

Final Thoughts from Chess on Disney’s Moana: “You got to watch it. It’s funny.”

NDSC Film Expert Reviews ‘Doctor Strange’

T. Chess Mitchell: Staff member at NDSC and Expert on Movies

Chess has recently reviewed the movie Doctor Strange for our friends at NDSC. These are his findings:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Doctor Strange out of 5 stars for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = The Doc is so Awesome! Quality sound effects make for a fun movie to watch.

NDSC: Is it a movie that is more for smaller kids or do you think older siblings and parents would like it too?

Chess’s answer: Rated PG 13 so it is best for older kids and for parents to watch with them.

NDSC: So…. What is the movie about and how does inspire?

Chess’s answer: About a doctor who has lost hope and then discovers powers within that send him on an unexpected journey.

Final Thoughts from Chess on Doctor Strange:  “Look for the power within.”

NDSC Film Expert Reviews Jason Bourne

Chess has recently reviewed the new Jason Bourne movie for our friends at NDSC. These are his findings:

NDSC: How many stars would you give Jason Bourne out of 5 stars for excellence?

Chess’s answer: 5 stars = loving the physical action and energy in the movie

NDSC: Why did you want to see Jason Bourne? Was there anything in particular that intrigued you about the movie?

Chess’s answer:  Seeing the earlier movies made me want to hear more of the Bourne story

NDSC: If you were Jason Bourne for a day, what would you do?Jason Bourne

Chess’s answer: He is so cool so I would be SO cool, even cooler than I presently am. As Jason Bourne I would be able to get my “revenge” because I would be as strong and as cool as he is.

NDSC: Which part of the movie did you think was the most interesting?

Chess’s answer: He started out as being alone to fight his battle but ended with support from a team.

NDSC: Final thoughts from Chess on Jason Bourne. . .

Chess’s answer: Highly recommend Jason Bourne as an action movie. I love action movies.
